I don’t really talk about drugs too often, but I do have friends who smoke pot regularly, and while I’m not convinced that any of them have problems with it, I am sure that they have other friends who probably do. And I also don’t talk about drinking very often either, but I do have friends who habitually get drunk and some could even be said to have a drinking problem. In fact, one of my very best friends has even been through rehab and it changed his life.

I saw him at his worst, and I didn't do anything. I didn't try to talk to him about it or get him some help. I figured he was an adult, he knew what he was doing, and he was the one who needed to make the decision to stop. For a long time I didn't talk to him because I didn't like to see him that way. But I feel like I could have - should have - done more. If I had known about this website, I might have felt less helpless to do anything, I might have been able to get him the help he needed sooner.

So, if anyone thinks they, or a friend or family member, need help for a drug or alcohol problem, check out this website: 1800NODRUGS.com; they can help you find a local drug treatment program and get help. The website has lots of information, an online assessment, and even a toll-free number to call if you need to talk to someone right away.

PayPerPost is now offering a more direct way for advertisers to find and hire people to do their viral marketing for them (remember, viral marketing is a word-of-mouth-type of advertising). Introducing PPP Direct! It’s really a very simple and easy thing to do! All you need to do is just specify the amount you want to get paid and add the HTML code for the widget to your blog. Advertisers can then find the specific blogs that interest them, negotiate the terms with you, and hire you to make a sponsored post! Simple!

There are other companies that offer these direct opportunities, but they can charge 50-100% markup! So if you say you want $10 to write an ad, the advertiser would need to pay $15-20 so you can get your $10. Sure, the company needs to charge something; there are costs such as tax reporting, customer service, etcetera, but PayPerPost only charges 10%, most of which goes to PayPal and credit card fees. With PPP Direct, you get to keep the majority of the money that the advertiser is spending, and you still get all the security and safety of working through PayPerPost. You can read more about PPP Direct at their blog and even see it in action...

So click the link, sign up, and ...
